Rhea Seehorn Is Already Obsessing Over the ‘Pluribus’ Season Finale

Having starred in it, clearly Rhea Seehorn knows how season one of Pluribus ends. The finale is still a few weeks away (it’ll release on December 26), but in a new interview, she explains how the climax of the season made her feel, and her first thought after reading it.

“It’s bananas,†the actress, who just got a Golden Globe nomination for her role on the show, told Deadline. “The same as the first episode. I have virtually the same reaction to all of them. I’m like, ‘What!?’ Then I’m like, ‘Holy crap. All right, let’s go.’ I mean, they read so beautifully. I knew when I was reading the scripts [that] this would be the kind of show that I would love. I would be obsessed with this show even if I didn’t get to be in it. So it’s just been a huge reward to get to play it, and to get to be kind of the audience’s access point in going down this rabbit hole. As far as the finale, I loved it. I was immediately, desperately needing Season 2. They are in the writers’ room now, and I have not asked any questions yet. I might just be surprised, right along with the audience. I’ll play it before they’ll see it, but I might, I might wait. I don’t know.â€

So, yes, Seehorn is as big a fan of Vince Gilligan’s show as we are, even as the star of it. That’s incredibly exciting. As is the fact that season two is already in the works.

As for what could possibly happen on the season finale, we’re still a few weeks away, so it’s impossible to predict. Could Carol finally meet up with the one other skeptic and figure out a way to reverse the hive mind process? Will someone switch their alliances? Could we see one of the others learn to lie? The possibilities are endless. And, if you watched Breaking Bad especially, you know that Gilligan is a master at a killer cliffhanger. We think we have another one coming in a few weeks.

Pluribus is currently streaming on Apple TV+, and we can’t recommend it enough.
