The new Tony Hawk remaster is a good sign for Switch 2 ports

One of the pleasant surprises of the Switch 2 launch was how well the hardware managed big games not made by Nintendo. It’s something the company’s underpowered consoles have often struggled with, but the Switch 2 is a good place to play technical showpieces like Cyberpunk 2077 – though that originally debuted in 2020. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, which is launching simultaneously on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and both versions of the Switch, makes for an interesting test case of what’s possible on the Switch 2 with a new game.
