Alongside new Ring and Blink security cameras, Amazon also announced a boatload of new smart TVs. These TVs run a new OS called “Vega OS.†As with all of Amazon’s new hardware, these new Fire TVs have built-in Alexa+.
The new Fire TV 2 Series starts at $160 and comes in 32 and 40-inch models. The Fire TV 4 Series starts at $330 and comes in 43, 50, and 55 inches. The Fire TV Omni QLED Series have the best picture and sound quality; the chipset is 40% faster so the Fire TV interface loads faster. The picture also automatically adjusts colors and brightness based on the room’s lighting.

Amazon also announced a new Fire TV Stick 4K Select for $40. It’s the same Fire TV Stick that you’re used to; it supports 4K; and comes with a remote control. Oh, and of course, you can call Alexa and ask it to analyze what you’re watching. Amazon showed off a demo of how Alexa+ could understand more conversational language to find and discover content.
