Insidious 6 has wrapped filming. For All Mankind‘s Eric Phillips is writing a new nautical sci-fi show. Plus, Carol goes shopping in a clip from this week’s Pluribus. To me, my spoilers!

Insidious 6
Production has officially wrapped on Insidious 6.
Creep 3
During a recent interview with Slasher Radio, Creep franchise director Patrick Brice stated he’s waiting for an idea “that explodes things a little bit†in the same way Army of Darkness took a big swing for the Evil Dead franchise before embarking on a third movie.
It is something we talk about all the time, and it is something that we are working on. The show is almost an incubator for what Creep 3 could be, in a lot of ways. I won’t say which episodes, but some of the episodes for the show were potential Creep 3 ideas that we’d had at one point or another. I just want Creep 3 to be a defining statement of some kind with the series. I want it to justify its own existence in terms of being a movie. But at the same time, I’m thinking about the precedent of things like this. I’m a huge fan of Army of Darkness, and I always think of Army of Darkness as an example of a third movie in a horror genre as something that challenged itself. It took that an ran with it and took it in another unexpected, super fun direction. Sam Raimi was able to explore almost a different genre through that movie and something that he was excited about. If we’re gonna make it, we’re gonna do it right and do right by the franchise that we’ve already created, but we also have to do something that explodes things a little bit and is surprising.
