Brendan Fraser stated he’s “hopeful†a fourth Mummy movie does indeed happen in a recent interview with IndieWire.

What you saw in Variety and the trades as wrote is a spec piece, but if my lips weren’t sealed, I would confirm everything that you already know. However, I’m hopeful. I know that there are a lot of fans who would love to see this happen…I want to say that I know how many people, how meaningful it is. Any fan convention I go to, the lines surround the block and they’re all carrying “Mummy†merch or pictures or whatever. They dress up like the characters. And the people that I meet, yeah, they’re enthusiastic about it. They’re fans to the point of sometimes being fanatical. Someone will pull a shirt aside and show an Egyptian tattoo that was mocked up from something that they saw from the movie. The weirdest one was some guy pulled his pant leg up and my face was on his calf. I was like, “Ah.â€

They’re like diehards, really. And I like that because I’d lost count of the number of young women, particularly — and men, but mostly women — who’ve come through the line because it’s kind of like speed dating. Who said, “I’m an archeologist now, because I saw this movie now as a kid and made me say that’s what I wanted to do.†Egyptologists, the people go into the field, they become historians, they become librarians, proper librarians, and that just warms the cockles of my heart.

When asked about his Clayface being recast for the character’s upcoming solo movie, Alan Tudyk expressed confusion at his role in James Gunn’s DCU during a recent appearance at Motor City Comic Con 2025

I don’t know. He’s got so much going on. I just let him do his thing over there, and he’ll give me a call when he needs me. He’s got so many great projects going on, and there’s more every day. It’s like, “What? They’re gonna do a V For Vendetta?†That’s something I saw today. There’s stuff that you wouldn’t even think of as DC, but that definitely came from a comic book, and that’s coming. If anybody’s interested in that, know that project’s coming out. I love the guy who plays Jimmy Olsen, [Skyler Gisondo]. He’s hysterical, and I’ve always liked his work. So, yeah, I would probably do that. I don’t know.
