The Space Between

The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum

Additionally, a second rumor from The Hot Mic podcast (also via World of Reel) suggests the film may be just the first installment of another Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood & Honey 3

Dread Central reports Roger Jackson—the voice of Ghostface in the Scream movies and Mojo Jojo in The Powerpuff Girls franchise—has joined the cast of Blood & Honey 3 as the voice of Rabbit.

Smile 3

Dread Central additionally has word a third Smile movie is in the works, but Parker Finn likely won’t return to direct.

Ghostbusters 6

McKenna Grace stated “there’s always hope†for another live-action Ghostbusters movie in a recent interview with THR.

I think there’s always hope. Personally, I haven’t heard anything lately. I’d be more secretive if I had, but I would love to play Phoebe again. She was such a huge part of my career and also my childhood and teenage years. I grew up playing her. It was such an honor for me to get to be a part of Ghostbusters and help bring it to a younger generation. So I would always be honored to play Phoebe again, and whether it would be next year, I feel like I would have heard about it by now if I was.

Nowadays, any franchise or any film has the opportunity to come back at any time, so I wonder when that would be. I just really hope I get to, and I know that there’s always talks of doing more films whenever something has had some success or a big following. So my fingers are always crossed. As of right now, I have no clue, but I definitely think that it could be a possibility someday in the future.

Jumanji 4

Kevin Hart and The Rock have both shared behind-the-scenes videos from the filming of Jumanji 4 on social media.

Rabisu: Curse of the Demon

A group of livestreaming ghost hunters awaken the spirit of a vengeful djinn in the trailer for Rabisu: Curse of the Demon.

Luke Cage

During his recent appearance on Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum, Mike Colter agreed it’s time for Luke Cage to return to the MCU.

I do think now it’s time. I think you know Daredevil’s back. I’ve had discussions with Marvel, and I do think that it’s very, very likely that I will come back at some point, but I don’t know when. But I think I will.

Daredevil: Born Again/Jessica Jones

Relatedly, Dario Scarpadane discussed Jessica Jones’ highly anticipated return in Daredevil: Born Again season two in a recent interview with SFX Magazine (via The Direct).

One of the things we’ve leaned into is that time has passed between the end of the Netflix show and the beginning of ours. We’re acknowledging that. These characters have matured; they’ve gone through life. And Jessica Jones, bourbon-swilling smartass – what’s it like for her to mature seven years?

What Melissa Rosenberg did with Season 1 of Jessica Jones is some of the finest superhero television work ever. When I first came and talked to Marvel I was like, ‘We’ve got to bring Jessica Jones back!’ I don’t feel that her story ended. If you read the comic books, you’ll know that there’s a next chapter of her life that I thought was super interesting.
