‘Dispatch’ Stats Show Millions of Players Put the Work In

AdHoc’s episodic adventure game Dispatch released near the end of 2025, and players were quickly enamored with it. In light of the new year, the developer put out a breakdown video highlighting stats that among other things, underline how big the superhero workplace title has become since its launch.

By the end of the eight-episode run, players finished 52.5 million shifts and answered 727 million calls. That also translates to over 1 billion heroes deployed, but unfortunately, we don’t know who the most-used hero throughout the entire season would be. When it comes to specific narrative choices concerning the Z-Team, Dispatch players sure made their favorites known—2.8 million players opted to cut Coupe (vs. the 1.6 million who cut Sonar), 2.4 million kept Invisigal (1.1 million decided to boot her) and 2.3 million brought on sad sack Waterboy to fill a vacant spot. (2 million, meanwhile, went for Superman-alike Phenomaman).

Lines were also drawn when it came to romance: 1.9 million people pursued Invisigal, and 1 million chose Blonde Blazer. Conversely, a combined 330,000 players weren’t so lucky in love; 266,000 ended with things “complicated†between both women, and 164,000 didn’t fall for anyone at all period.

This data revealed by AdHoc may not be involved as some would like, and it might not need to be, since individual episodes end comparing your choices in relation to other players. Even so, it’d be interesting to know things with the collective effort in mind, like the number of successful calls versus failures for the whole season or the most-leveled stat for each individual hero.

But suffice to say, players have shown up for Dispatch: not only has it sold over 3 million copies, it’s been a bit of an online phenomenon, with over 23 million watch hours across YouTube and Twitch and over 55,000 YouTube, Twitch, and TIkTok content creators. AdHoc’s previously said the game’s exceeded its sales targets and it sounds open to doing another season after it finishes its Critical Role game. Until then, it’s out now on PC and PlayStation 5 and coming to the Nintendo Switch systems later in January.
