Zoe Saldana teases Neytiri’s dark arc in Avatar: Fire and Ash. Matthew Lillard hints at what a Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 might look like for William Afton. Plus, get a look at what’s coming in Welcome to Derry‘s season finale. Spoilers, assemble!

Avengers: Doomsday
Sebastian Stan suggested there’ll be major character deaths in Avengers: Doomsday during his recent appearance at Tokyo Comic-Con (via Screen Rant).
I don’t know if I can say very much about that. I don’t know what’s going to happen. We’ll see who makes it or who doesn’t. I think the most exciting thing is Robert Downey Jr., one of the greatest, coming back. He’s definitely going to have something in store for everybody.
Avatar: Fire and Ash
Speaking with MovieWeb, Zoe Saldana revealed Neytiri becomes a “full-blown racist†in Avatar: Fire and Ash.
Spider is a physical reminder of everything that has been taken from Neytiri, and she’s so blinded by her fury and her hate. I mean, she’s a full-blown racist in Fire and Ash, and to a degree that Jake doesn’t really recognize her anymore, and she’s a stranger to herself, and she’s abandoned the will of Eywa in the sense that it’s like it’s a child. Doesn’t matter where this child comes from; you must love them. You have to take it in. This child doesn’t have a home, but every time she looks at that child, she’s just reminded of how triggered she is by it.
Alpha
Bloody-Disgusting also reports Julia Ducournau’s Alpha is now scheduled for a March 27, 2026 theatrical release.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 3
Speaking with CBR, Matthew Lillard suggested we’ll have to wait for Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 for a confrontation between William Afton and Mike.
Don’t hold your breath to seeing a lot of William Afton [in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2]. Like Star Wars or Harry Potter, Voldemort or Darth Vader, they both sort of show up later in the series. So, unfortunately for me, I don’t have a huge part in it. I do think the stuff I get to do is fantastic. I love it. Our hope is that we get to do three films. That’s always been the plan. Everything is dependent on how the movie does in theaters. We’ll get that final Harry Potter vs. Voldemort or Luke Skywalker vs. Darth Vader [in Five Nights at Freddy’s 3]. That’s our hope. Within that, we’ll get to do that and explore more. For now, we’ve got a long way to go; we’ve got to get people into the theaters.
The X-Files
Gillian Anderson denied she has any involvement in the upcoming X-Files reboot during a recent interview with Screen Rant.
I have not had those conversations or those thoughts. I talked to Ryan Coogler a while back to be told that he was [making the show], and that’s kind of where it was. I have no idea where they are at, or if it’s at. There’s a big difference between [that and] thinking about it.
