Amazon Big Deal Days is coming October 7-8, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools before it’s over.

October Prime Day 2025 is here, and deals are flooding in. If you’re looking to shop on a budget, I shared Prime Day tech deals for under $25 and even more under $50. If your budget is a bit higher, here are the best tech deals under $100.

Security cameras

I’ve been in search of the best solar camera that is also subscription-free ever since my home was broken into. That camera for me has been the Aosu Solar Camera, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-to-setup, reliable solar camera with a 360-degree view. You can get it for $59.99 (originally $79.99), an impressive value for the money.

The Reolink Video Doorbell, one of the best video doorbells of 2025, is also on sale, down to $76.99 (originally $109.99). It’s subscription-free and it can be hardwired or work over wifi.

Smart locks

I’ve tested nearly every smart lock on the market, and I cannot recommend the SwitchBot Lock Pro enough, as you can read in my review. It’s reliable, simple, and comes with many useful features. It’s also extremely renter-friendly, so you can install it easily with minimal work. You can get just the smart lock for $69.99 (originally $119.99), but if you want everything you need to work it remotely, get the bundle.

Google Nest thermostat

For my home, I also use the Google Nest Thermostat, which looks great and works reliably. You can control your HVAC remotely with the Google app and set routines for $91.99 (originally $129.99).

Streaming sticks

Another great Google product I recommend is the Google TV Streamer 4K, currently $79.98 (originally $99.99). I’ve been using it since the first generation came out. I love it because it lets me easily cast my phone to any TV or projector (Android or iOS alike). This specific model is compatible with 4K resolution.

If you’re looking for the Roku equivalent, the Roku Ultra for $69 (originally $99.99) is your best bet and is also discounted right now.

Amazon Fire tablet

If you’re looking for a budget tablet under $100, do not consider any tablet other than the Amazon Fire HD 10, currently just $69.99 (originally $139.99). Any other tablet is likely to be a bust, but the Fire HD 10 has been a solid budget option since its 2023 release.

A keyboard for a jam session

Our Senior Staff Writer, Stephen Johnson, loves this MIDI Keyboard, even though he claims to be terrible at it. If you don’t believe me, hear it directly from the source. For $79.79 (originally $99), you can potentially be just as good (or terrible) as him.

Speakers

I’m surprised to see the second-generation Bose SoundLink Flex going for $99 (originally $149). This outdoor speaker has been a classic and top-performing portable option since its release in 2024. Take advantage of it.

If you prefer some more modern features for a bit less money, the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom is just $66.49 (originally $99.99). You won’t get the same sound quality as the SoundLink Flex, but it’ll be close. You can read more about this deal here.

Apple AirPods

The cheapest AirPods (without active noise cancelation) are just $89 (originally $129) after a record low price. These are the fourth generation with the H2 chip and a 30-hour battery. You can also get the ANC version for a record-low price.

Apple AirTags

Never lose a purse or luggage again. If you’re an Apple user and don’t have any AirTags yet, this is the best time to pull the trigger, with a four-pack currently going for $64.99 (originally $99).

Video games

Cloud gaming is becoming an increasingly attractive alternative to owning a console—nothing epitomizes that better than this Xbox Controller and Fire TV Stick Bundle with one month of Game Pass Ultimate, currently going for $98.77 (originally $139.97). That’s right, you can play Xbox games on any screen with an HDMI without needing to buy an actual Xbox console. Pretty sweet.

If you’re looking for a deal on a PC or Android controller, look no further than the 8Bitdo Ultimate 2 Wireless Gaming Controller, currently $47.99 (was $59.99). It comes with a dock, compatibility with both a dongle and Bluetooth, Hall Effect sticks for increased durability, back paddles, extra bumpers, and switches to turn the triggers into one-tap clicks.
